Looking for a golf course home in a mature neighborhood? Little Turtle surrounding The Golf Club at Little Turtle could be your perfect fit. This established neighborhood features single family homes and condominiums. As part of the exciting renovations coming to the golf club, new condos are being planned along Longrifle, on what used to be the driving range. Little Turtle can provide the quiet refuge of golf course living with convenient freeway access to restaurants, entertainment and shopping. It is also situated on the line of two prestigious school districts, Westerville and New Albany.
The Golf Club at Little Turtle has recently been revitalized to create an elite private golf club. The name comes from Chief Little Turtle, who was determined to become one of the greatest chiefs of all time in the Miami tribe. Similarly, the club has the same goal: to become a paramount golf course and club in the central Ohio region. The clubhouse is sporting some major renovations and a state of the art practice facility is being added. The course was designed by internationally renowned golf course architect, Pete Dye. Little Turtle winds peacefully through the woods along The Big Walnut Creek. The 18-hole course has hosted many USGA Amateur Qualifying Tournaments.
The glass enclosed ballroom creates a magical experience with scenic views of the course and lake. There is a grand 40-foot fireplace, wrap around deck, dance floor and in house catering available. Banquet rooms can seat anywhere from 10 to 200 people. The social focus of Little Turtle is the Grille Room, which features a pub style menu. A copper top bar and seating overlooking the lake create a fantastic atmosphere. To help maintain its reputation as “the fun private club in Central Ohio,” there are regular social events for the members.
